Hotel La Perla, Ascona

Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious room with four beds, just under the roof. The hotel offers a very natural and friendly service, with attentive staff. The location is ideal, close to the lake and bus station, perfect for enjoying all that Ascona has to offer. The dining options provided a larger than usual breakfast choice. The facilities were excellent with helpful add-ons such as laundry service, welcome drink, and tours/ticket assistance.

Upon arrival, to our surprise, the hotel was very nice in a classic style, well-equipped, and with a very comfortable and wide bed. The service was friendly and coached by the young and elegant owner, although it could have been more enthusiastic. The location, in Ascona proper, was perfect as it was close to all the activities but not right in the center. The dining experience, while basic, offered a variety of options. The facilities were adequate for a pleasant stay.
